When the world feels uncertain, our minds can easily become tense, restless, or overwhelmed. This series of classesoffers a gentle, practical way to find steadiness within. You will explore simple methods for calming the mind, easing emotional pressure, and cultivating a sense of inner refuge that you can rely on—no matter what’s happening around you.

Through clear teachings and guided meditations, you’ll learn how to create mental space, shift unhelpful patterns, and meet challenges with greater clarity and resilience. Each session (builds on the last,) helping you develop a grounded, peaceful approach to daily life, even in difficult moments.

Whether you’re seeking relief from stress or looking to strengthen your inner stability, this series offers a supportive path toward genuine peace of mind.

Teacher: Kelsang Dorsem – Known for his clear, practical teachings, bringing modern Buddhist compassion and wisdom to everyday life. He is a long-time student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso and Kadam Bridget Heyes. He comes from a scientific background and holds a PhD in biochemistry. He possesses an excellent ability to bridge external sciences with the inner sciences of the mind.

Each class includes 2 guided meditations, a practical teaching, and time for questions. Meditation is done seated in chairs with the option to sit on a mat and cushion if you prefer.

This course is perfect for beginners as well as anyone wishing to refresh or deepen their meditation practice.

After the class there is tea and biscuits in the cafe provided free of charge for those who would like to stay on and discuss the class or their meditation practice.

£6 per class | £24 for 5 Classes | members free | Concessions available for those unable to afford the classes.
