WEEKLY CLASSES IN AYLSHAM

Our weekly meditation classes offer a friendly, supportive space to unwind, learn, and gradually build a more peaceful and positive state of mind. Each class includes guided meditations and practical teachings that you can apply straight away – whether you’re hoping to reduce stress, improve emotional balance, or deepen your understanding of Buddhist ancient wisdom.

The sessions are designed to be accessible for everyone. You don’t need any experience, previous knowledge or special clothing; simply come as you are and enjoy a calm environment where you can step back from the busyness of daily life. Over time, many people find that attending regularly helps them develop greater clarity, resilience, and a more positive outlook.

Every class explores a different theme – such as mindfulness, patience, compassion, or dealing with difficult emotions – presented in a clear, down‑to‑earth way. You’ll have the chance to ask questions, reflect, and connect with others who are also interested in cultivating inner peace.

Whether you join us every week or drop in whenever you can, these classes offer a steady, uplifting support for your wellbeing and personal growth.

With Buddhist monk Kelsang Norpel

A series of teachings and guided meditations to uplift our outlook on life.

Even when there doesn’t seem to be much to be optimistic about, Buddhist wisdom shows us how to find hope and clarity, so that we can retain a realistic approach to life’s challenges but never lose sight of the bright side.

Kelsang Norpel is a Buddhist monk and an experienced and lighthearted teacher known for his humour and inspirational presentation of  Buddhism. His teachings are always practical and easy to apply to everyday life.

Each class includes 2 guided meditations, a practical teaching, and time for questions. Meditation is done seated in chairs with the option to sit on a mat and cushion if you prefer.

This course is perfect for beginners as well as anyone wishing to refresh or deepen their meditation practice.

After the class there is tea and biscuits in the cafe provided free of charge for those who would like to stay on and discuss the class or their meditation practice.

Fee:

£7 per class | £28 for 5 Classes | members free | Concessions available for those unable to afford the classes.

Each class cost £6.00 which can be paid on the day by either cash or credit card
