Developing Our Good Nature

Title: Developing Our Good Nature
Location: Amoghasiddhi Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Attleborough (In-person/Online)
Dates: Monday, June 21st – July 19th
Times: 7.00 pm – 8.15 pm

About the Course:

We have seen over the last year that our society can function and is resilient enough to deal with crises, because a vast majority of individuals think of others and also think of how they affect others day by day.

But often, when we are not aware of how we behave and function within society, we feel that people and things gain their significance principally because of how they affect us. In this way we are viewing ourself as the centre of the universe. If everyone thought like this then our world would become a very unhappy place and perhaps if we look around us, it can seem that some of this is happening now.

In this series of classes Gen Kelsang Yankyi will look at how we can grow and develop ourselves so that we, our families and our immediate circle can reach the potential of our capabilities.

About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.
