About the course:
Many times in our life we try really hard to achieve something – whether its a trip to the beach, or a project at work or a simple thing like asking the family to co-operate in tidying up the garden because Nana is coming! What’s the most frustrating thing about it? The people concerned! We say its like herding sheep! People physically go off in all directions, they verbally come up with a ‘better’ idea and they mentally grumble because you didn’t listen to them!
But its not just at these times. Sometimes we feel we’ve had enough of being around others – of conforming to society – of considering how what we say, do and think affects others, and so trying to be considerate to them – of just the noise and movements of others, their presence even!
On this course we will explore some of these things by looking at how we ourselves react to others and how we can keep some stability and balance in our own mind at home, at work and in our social life.
