About the Course:

All over the world we have seen incredible acts of kindness and courage in these recent unpredictable times. Although it appears as if there needs to be a common ground – common danger or tragedy to bring out this side of human nature, in fact it is not necessary. Kindness, love, courage and so on are there in our heart, but we need to tap into them. How do we do this? How do we create kindness in our heart and so in the world around us?

Gen Kelsang Yankyi will lead us in meditations and practices, and show us from Buddha’s teachings how we can awaken these qualities in ourself; principally, through meditation! Then, through the attitude and example shown in our life, we can become a well-spring for others to learn to show this side of their nature.

About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.
