Title: How to let go & move on, an introduction to the law of karma – Online classes
Location: Amoghasiddhi Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Attleborough (Live-stream w/ 48 hour playback)
Dates: Friday Lunchtimes, 16th April- 14th May
Time: 12.30 pm – 1.30 pm
About the Course:
We are bound within the prison of our life and the circumstances that have shaped it. For a long period of time, we have been amassing all the causes and conditions that have led to these circumstances arising and leading to our present experiences in this life.
In this short series of classes, Gen Kelsang Yankyi will look at how we can break the iron chains of karma that bind us to what appear to be the unbreakable and invisible boundaries of our world. Instead of doing something drastic eg, having a make over or changing our job! and possibly hurting many people, we can learn to work with our own mind, having understood and accepted the law of karma. In this way, our life and the lives of others can move on and be freed from limitations.
About the Teacher:
Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.
