About the course:

On this half day course

On this half day course we will be looking at how we can find happiness from a different source and how we can develop and cultivate positive states of mind such as love and compassion. These are virtuous states of mind that lead us easily and naturally to become calm and peaceful.

The day will consist of teachings, guided meditations and time to relax and enjoy the World Peace Café.

Everybody is welcome. This course is suitable for all levels of experience.

About the Teacher

Kelsang Yankyi is a Buddhist nun who has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism and meditation under the guidance of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for many years. Kelsang Yankyi presents Buddha’s teachings with warmth and compassion and has a great ability to make them relevant to everyday situations we encounter.
