About the Course:
Many people find times in their life when they come to a crossroads and they don’t know which way to go and who or where to turn to for help. We can feel, ‘someone just tell me what to do for the best and I will do it!’.
On this half-day course, Gen Kelsang Yankyi will;
- Give us some ideas to think about
- Encourage us to develop calm, relaxed minds with which we can then look clearly and dispassionately at our situations and take an active part in making decisions, rather than sticking our head in the sand and refusing to look.
- She will also guide us to look at how we can receive help and guidance from a Buddhist perspective.
About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.

Classes at the centre
Our doors are now open for in-person classes. Our meditation room is spacious and accommodating towards those who wish to keep a social distance.
Online classes
If you are late or miss the class do not worry, you are able to view a replay for up to 5 days. When you book, you will receive a confirmation email containing links to watch the teachings; remember to check your junk mail folder if you don’t see this email right away, and contact us if necessary. Keep your confirmation email, and follow the links it contains when it is time for the teachings.
