About the Course:
Buddha taught that each of us has within us a extraordinary potential for inner growth and transformation. We can learn to achieve this potential by developing at first some trust and belief in Buddhas teachings; then by putting them into practice and realizing from our own experience that they do actually work, we can begin to develop some faith in them.
Buddha said “Don’t believe me because I am Buddha, find out from your own experience, and then you will know for yourself. Test it in practice.”
Gen Kelsang Yankyi will give teachings on developing faith and lead some meditations to help us gain some experience in this profound practice.
About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.

Classes at the centre
Dependent upon full restrictions being lifted we should be back to normal and the below restriction will not apply.
We only have limited places available for in-person classes, so advance booking is recommended. Your confirmation email will include our COVID-19 safety guidelines. Please remember to bring a face covering to wear during the class. If you are exempt from wearing a face covering, please contact reception BEFORE BOOKING as we only have limited space.
Online classes
If you are late or miss the class do not worry, you are able to view a replay for up to 5 days. When you book, you will receive a confirmation email containing links to watch the teachings; remember to check your junk mail folder if you don’t see this email right away, and contact us if necessary. Keep your confirmation email, and follow the links it contains when it is time for the teachings.
