About the Course:

Where does worry take us? To more worry! Does it help anything? Not really!

If we go on and on worrying it becomes a mental habit and then we need to always FIND something to worry about!

If worrying about it doesn’t change anything and if it makes our mind disturbed and unhappy, then we should do something about this. Maybe you would say, ‘easier said than done!’

Gen Kelsang Yankyi will explain in this half day course why worrying is a waste of time and effort, why there is no point to it and what we can do to lessen and then stop it. This in itself brings some peace and happiness. She will further talk about “relying on a happy mind alone” – quote from Geshe Chekawa in Universal Compassion.

About the Teacher:

Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.
