Title: From Strange Times to Peaceful Minds Location: Hungate Church, Hungate Lane Beccles NR34 9TT Dates: TBA 2021 Costs: See below
About The Class:
“We never know what is just around the corner!” – Or so the saying goes!
We try hard to find some stability in our life, some security, but when we look with wisdom, relying upon external conditions deceives us again and again. It’s like walking on quicksand! When we practice meditation we discover an inner foundation. This becomes the runway upon which we will jet off, travel to new places and land safely and smoothly, giving us the freedom to deal anew with our daily situations.
On this course Karen McKean will explain how we can develop inner stability and strength. She will teach first the basis of meditation and why we need it, and will show how we can take this to a more profound level.
About the Teacher:
Karen Mckean has been studying Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years. She is passionate about how meditation can help everybody, and is clear and thorough in teaching this.
Karen has been teaching in Beccles for nearly 2 years.
Walk-ins at Beccles are also welcome should space permit.
