About the Course:
We all have things that churn around and around in our mind – worries, fears, plans, sadness’s, regrets, and many “what if’s”! Sometimes these came from dwelling on past events, sometimes from worry and anxiety about the future and often it is fear of the unknown. In order to feel safe and secure therefore, we may resist change in our life or we may keep changing things around so that we we feel in control!
On this course we will learn how meditation can help us, not just in the meditation itself, but by taking our experiences in the meditation into our mind and using them to help us day by day.
About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.
Everybody is welcome. These classes are suitable for all levels of experience
