About the Course:

Buddha, Dharma and Sangha are known as the Three Jewels. When we go for refuge to the Three Jewels, this means, we rely upon them everyday and we can enter the Buddhist family.

During this Friday evening lecture Gen Kelsang Yankyi will give an introduction to what going for refuge means. Suitable for all levels of experience, particularly those wishing to engage in the Refuge Retreat on the following day – though not required.

About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Yankyi is the Resident Teacher of Amoghasiddhi KBC and has been studying and teaching Kadampa Buddhist meditations for over twenty-six years. She is loved for her gentle and joyful approach and her ability to present Buddha’s teachings in a clear and down to earth manner making them easy to practice.
